Assistant Concertmaster Amanda Beaune gives us the scoop on her involvement with ESO and how she got started...
How long have you played with ESO?
This is my third season with the ESO!
What instrument do you play and how did you gravitate to that instrument?
I play the violin- I think the reason I gravitated toward it is because it so closely resembles the sound of the human voice, and I felt like I could express my own voice and experiences through the sound of my instrument.
What piece is on your bucket list to play with ESO and why?
There are a lot of pieces I would like to play with ESO, but I think Beethoven Symphony No 3 "Eroica" would be at the top of my list! It has always been my favorite Beethoven Symphony and I think it would be so fun to play with this group!
