volunteer

Our team of volunteers provides a vital role in bringing high quality music to life in our community.

From selling tickets to helping market concerts, our volunteers can put their personal and professional talents to good use while being surrounded by some of the most talented musicians in the area. Volunteers also enrich their own professional and personal lives by working with other talented and similarly-motivated people. While all of our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, all share one thing in common—the invisible bond of music.

With your help, we can keep outstanding-quality music alive in our community.

Silver Measure Award

The Silver Measure Award is the Elmhurst Symphony Association’s highest recognition. Its purpose is to recognize outstanding volunteer service to the ESO exemplified by major contributions of personal effort and involvement in its programs and the community over an extended period of time. Volunteers may be nominated from the Orchestra, Board, and various committees of the Association. A committee selects recipients from nominated candidates. No individual may be awarded the Silver Measure more than once.
