We had a quick chat with Bruce about his involvement with the Elmhurst Symphony. Here's what he had to say.

How long have you been connected with ESO and how did you get started?

I joined the ESO board in March 2022. Music has long been a part of life for me, and I had attended numerous ESO concerts when a friend and retiring board member called to ask if I was interested in a position. After interviewing with the officers of the board I was accepted and started my term in 2022.

What do you do for ESO?

In addition to regular board duties, I also serve on the budget and endowment committees. The ESO endowment is an important part of ESO long term financial health. 

What is your favorite part of working/being involved with ESO?

As a former business owner, it is exciting to apply my education, training, and experience to help the award winning Elmhurst Symphony continue to be an outstanding cultural part of the greater Elmhurst community.
