Biography

Daniel Voigt, tenor, from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, is currently a first year master’s student at Northwestern University, studying Vocal Performance and Opera under the tutelage of renowned tenor Norman Reinhardt. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Opera from the University of Southern California studying under Derrick Lawrence. Daniel was introduced to classical singing at age 11, when he joined the American Boychoir in Princeton, New Jersey, and then continued in classical singing and opera at Interlochen Arts Academy in Northern Michigan.  Since then, Daniel has immersed himself in the world of classical and contemporary vocal performance. era debut as Raúl and Luis in Journey to Cordoba. He currently is an auxiliary singer with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, one of the country’s leading professional choruses, the Adrian Dunn Singers touring gospel group, and a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). In November, Daniel will make his Northwestern debut as the principal roll of Gil in The Puppy Episode by Matthew Recio.
