Spirito Singers is a feminist youth choir based in Chicago’s western suburbs. With three ensembles of singers in grades 2-12 hailing from over 25 different communities, Spirito inspires its singers to be leaders through music education, performance excellence, and service to others. Spirito Singers performs complex treble repertoire in a variety of languages and styles, and aims to shape singers into versatile musicians and confident leaders. Spirito tours annually, with destinations both national and international, and has appeared onstage alongside the Joffrey Ballet and the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest, and at venues including Paris’s La Madeleine Cathedral and New York City’s Carnegie Hall.
